Nursing & Allied Health Programs Designed for Working Adults

Your career is demanding. Your life is busy. But you know that earning an advanced degree is the key to taking on more challenging roles at work. SUNY Empire’s flexible nursing and allied health programs are designed with you – and your many commitments and obligations – in mind.

If you’re a working RN with an eye on earning a BSN degree, look no further. Our flexible, online RN to BSN program gives you a dynamic, high-quality education at your pace, on your schedule.

Put yourself at the intersection of quality patient care and good business sense with SUNY Empire’s Master of Science in Nursing Administration. When you do, you’ll be prepared to lead in an increasingly complex health care system.

Combine your clinical expertise and your interest in teaching with SUNY Empire’s Master of Science in Nursing Education. You’ll not only learn what to teach, but how to teach it to best prepare the next generation of nurses.

If you are a healthcare professional with an active license or certification, our degree programs allow you to advance your career and balance life.

The advanced certificate in nursing education is ideal if you are a nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing degree in another specialty (nurse practitioner, administrator, informaticist, or midwifery) and wish to become a nurse educator.

Not quite ready to commit to a BSN program? Explore your options and earn a few credits in the nondegree nursing study program. You can take two required nursing courses prior to making a decision about enrolling. The credits you earn will apply toward your BSN degree when you do enroll.

High-Quality Patient Care Requires
High-Quality Nursing Education

SUNY Empire’s RN to BSN, MS in Nursing Education and MS in Nursing Administration programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). That means you’ll earn your degree from a college that meets – and often exceeds – nationally established nursing standards.
