The Student Affairs Committee had a conference call on December 9 and January 20 focused primarily on the sub-committee work being done in the committees and to discuss the front porch initiative and student input on academic calendar.
The Students Assisting Students sub-committee continues to have thoughtful discussions of the role of the student SAC members and develop options for connecting these representatives with the student body.
The Student All-College Conference Committee met in December to develop our planning document for the conference. The call for programs has been included in the SAC newsletter and will be distributed to the faculty on the news page and in the exchange.
The Spring 2005 SAC newsletter is currently in print. We have attached a copy for your review. We continue to welcome student and faculty submissions. For the first time in memory, we were unable to include all of the submitted articles.
