Entering the Graduate Academic Conversation: Discussion and Responding to Sources

Graduate school is largely an initiation into a broader community of scholars. So how do you, a student, enter into the major conversations in your discipline? In this workshop, we will show you how to discuss and respond to scholarly sources in your writing. We will provide examples of phrasing used in academic discourse and will also show you how to cite your sources appropriately using in-text citation.
