Lauren Wynn, Military Outreach Specialist - Mid-Atlantic Region

Lauren Wynn joined the Office of Veteran and Military Education as a Military Outreach Specialist in September 2011. Her primary duties include providing outreach, advising, and support for enrolled and perspective military and veteran students at military installation in Hampton Roads, Virginia Beach, and throughout the Mid Atlantic Region. Lauren has over five years experience in higher education. She worked as a Graduate Assistant Adviser assisting undergraduate business students at Valdosta State University and as a Student Success Adviser and First Year Experience Class instructor at Savannah College of Art and Design.

As a military spouse and active volunteer, Lauren is aware of the unique challenges facing military members and their families. She graduated with a B.A. in psychology from Marshall University Huntington, WV and went on to complete an M.S. in Marriage in Family Therapy from Valdosta State University Valdosta, GA.
