Skin Cancer Awareness Month

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month. Now that we’re quickly approaching warmer weather, it is a good time to consider getting a free screening and learn more about how you can prevent this disease. According to the American Cancer Society, “Skin cancer is the most common of all cancers. It accounts for nearly half of all cancers in the United States. Seventh Annual Student Academic Conference: An Interview with Diane Cosh, Student Art Presenter

Diane Cosh, a recent SUNY Empire State College graduate from the Hudson Valley Center, presented four beautiful and creative works of art at the 7th Annual Student Academic Conference (StAC) in White Plains last October. Three Empire State College Students Selected for Master's Level Graduate Research Conference

A faculty group from the School for Graduate Studies selected students whose research-based work made them eligible to attend the inaugural Master's Level Graduate Research Conference at SUNY Brockport this past April. Office of Communications and Government Relations Launches ESC-TV with First Live Webcast of “War Stories”

Art Exhibit at 111 West Avenue Features Work by Aaron Northrup '10; Bridges Gap Between Reality and Imagination

We Got Klout! Social Media Plays Important Role in Alumni and Student Engagement

The Office of Alumni and Student Relations reports continued success in alumni and student engagement via social media pages. Social media has become an important tool for the college, enabling alumni and students to easily connect and network with each other as well as promote official college information such as the latest events, student achievements and news.
