Foundation Loan
You may apply for an advance on your pending financial aid. These funds are made available through the college's foundation and are to be used for educational costs to attend Empire State College.
To apply, complete the student request for an advance of excess financial aid application below. You must be registered for the current or upcoming term and meet all the criteria outlined on the application. The maximum amount of an advance refund is $500 each term.

Review of applications begins six weeks prior to the term start date. Applications received before that date will be held until that time. If approved, your account will be charged for the amount of your advance, your advance refund will be processed and your check will be mailed on the next scheduled date. Your check cannot be picked up in person. Please be sure to confirm your address on file is accurate by visiting http://www.esc.edu/MyESC.
You will be notified by email if your application is denied.
Applications must be received by 4 p.m. EST Friday to have a check issued the following Thursday.
