The Niagara Frontier region serves more than 1,100 undergraduate students annually at five locations in Western New York. Home to more than 4,500 alumni, our region is rich with talented, motivated people who are involved in the community.

Niagara Frontier faculty mentors work with undergraduates to develop degree programs that support individual educational goals and interests. We also have developed partnerships with several community colleges in the region that help ease the transfer process for community college students to Empire State College.

Students at Empire State College have several options for study — independent studies, small in-person study groups and online courses.  In addition, our Buffalo-Cheektowaga location regularly offers weekend residencies, currently in business and management and community and human services. Niagara Frontier residencies feature workshops for career development and guest speakers from local business and community agencies, in addition to blended learning opportunities that include small group, in-person meetings with faculty and students.

The faculty and staff of the Niagara Frontier region look forward to working with you as you pursue a degree that will meet your educational, personal and professional goals.
