What is the Student Academic Conference?

The Student Academic Conference brings together students from all geographic and academic areas of the college to share and learn from each other. The conference seeks to provide an arena for developing community among our students; to provide a forum for presenting creative and inspiring accomplishments of an academic nature; to foster the value of Empire State College as a learning community;and to immerse students in an academic culture.

The Program

The Student Academic Conference is a two day event where Empire State College students from around the state (and beyond) gather to present their academic and creative work through panel discussions, workshops, multimedia presentations, poster displays and artwork. The range of student work is multidisciplinary as reflected by our diverse student body.

The 2013 conference is being held at the the LaGuardia Airport Marriott, Queens, N.Y. on Oct. 18 to 19.
