Online Courses

The college uses Moodlerooms for its online learning environment. Students and faculty can use their Empire State College user names and passwords to access the Web-based courses from the "Academics" tab on MyESC as of the first day of the term; many courses open one week before the term begins.

Self-Assessment of Your Readiness for Online Learning

SmarterMeasure is a self-awareness tool that provides information about aspects of your home environment and your attributes as a learner that may significantly impact your success learning online. SmarterMeasure introduces you in 20-30 minutes to these aspects and attributes and asks you a to rate yourself on each. After you submit the completed assessment, you will receive a detailed score report and a score interpretation guide. You also will be guided to suggested learning support resources.
