M.A. Social Electives
Students in Social Policy must complete 12 credits of electives. You may choose to take residency-based, scheduled or individualized electives. You may also cross register at another college or use transfer credit to complete elective credits. Examples of electives include but are not limited to:

- Race, Class and Gender in U.S. Public Policy
- Advocacy for the Mentally Disabled
- Citizen and State: Contemporary American Politics
- Information Assurance and Security Policy

- Disaster in a Social Context
- Urban Issues
- Community Organizing
