Submitting Final Project

The School for Graduate Studies uses the services of ProQuest/UMI for the processing of Final Projects. As you work on Final Project, please adhere to the guidelines in the Graduate Catalog, available online through the Graduate Student Center at www.esc.edu/GradStudents. Once you have successfully completed the oral defense and have approval of revisions to your final project by your readers, you are ready to submit your document electronically to the School for Graduate Studies using a web interface.

Go to http://www.etdadmin.com/esc

  • Register at the website by creating an account
  • Select publishing options and accept ProQuest/UMI publishing agreement
  • Enter basic information about you and your work
  • Attach your PDF document (PDF conversion tool provided)
  • Register U.S. copyright (optional, with a fee)
  • Order bound copies (optional, with a fee)
  • Submit and pay

Note that all final projects must be submitted as a PDF document. If your manuscript is in Word or RTF format, you may convert it to PDF format at the UMI website using the provided PDF Conversion tool. No part of the submission is registered until you click the final Submit button. The Dean of the School for Graduate Studies then reviews your submission. When it is determined that all requirements have been met, that you have satisfactorily completed your project, and the Dean has approved it, the document is submitted to ProQuest/University Microfilms International (UMI). The master degree is awarded only after the completed Final Project has been submitted to ProQuest/UMI

Questions about the submission of Final Project may be directed to Grad.Services@esc.edu.
