Application Instructions

  • Go to our online application web page (
  • Read the instructions thoroughly. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Start Online Admissions.”
  • Create a username and password as prompted (note your name and password for future reference).
  • Click “Login to your online application.” The screen will change to a log in prompt.
  • Put in your new username and password and click, “Log In.”
  • Complete the admissions profile as prompted.
  • Under “Which Empire State College program are you applying to, select “Center for International Distance Learning”
  • Complete the rest of the profile information as prompted. Be sure to complete all fields before selecting “Save and Continue.”
  • Complete all other required forms. When your application is complete, select, “Final Submission.”
  • To exit your online admissions application and return to it later, click the “Log Out” button on any screen.
  • To return to you application, visit and click on, “Go to Application in Progress.”
