RoseMary Myers, Current Student

I have to admit I find this method of instruction particularly helpful. When I was in school some 25 years ago, I was incredibly shy.  I was smart enough, honor roll and all that, but very shy.  I could never bring myself to participate in class discussions, because I always felt inadequate.  I was always envious of the kids who were not "good students" in terms of grades, but who had the guts to participate in class discussions, and who very often had incredibly perceptive things to say.

These electronic discussion groups have saved me the horror I used to feel about class discussion and freed me to participate.  I don't worry about saying something stupid to my computer.  It won't know. And, while there is no lilting tone or facial expression, I am sensing tremendous warmth of spirit among our classmates.
This is truly an exciting experience.
